Dizziness
If you're struggling with dizziness and nobody can figure out why, I want you to think backward for a second.
Have you ever been in a car accident?
Played contact sports?
Taken a hard fall?
Or hit your head?
Your neck contains sensory receptors that constantly tell your brain where your head is positioned in space.
Your brain integrates that information with signals coming from your eyes and inner ears to help maintain orientation and balance.
A previous injury doesn't automatically mean your neck is causing your dizziness. Dizziness has many possible causes and should be appropriately evaluated.
But if you've been dealing with persistent dizziness and you also have a history of head or neck trauma, the upper cervical region may be another area worth investigating.
